What is a "progressive campaigning organisation"?

At meetniq.org, we consider a progressive campaigning organisation to be an organisation which:

is engaged in community organising or campaigning, and
is not-for-profit, and
has a main goal in our list of progressive goals.

Our list of progressive goals:

addressing the climate emergency
creating gender equality
eradicating poverty
improving workers rights
other environmental protection aims
LGBTIQ rights and wellbeing
justice reform
voting rights and access
equality for disabled and/or neurodiverse people
eradicating racism
challenging colonialism, fascism, war and capitalism
non-human animal rights
fighting for equality, access or justice for any marginalised group

If your organisation doesn't fit these criteria, you can still use Meetniq over at meetniq.com.

Don't have any money? Goal doesn't quite fit?

We don't want any progressive campaigning group to be unable to use Meetniq because of funding problems or because our goal criteria are too narrow.

Maybe your organisation meets the other requirements but:

has a progressive goal that isn't in our list, or
fits the Sustainability or Solidarity plan but can't afford to pay.
